Brass Hourglass, sandglass timer

hourglass, also known as a sandglass or sand timer. It's a device used to measure the passage of a period of time. Structure: It consists of two glass bulbs connected vertically by a narrow neck that allows a regulated flow of material (traditionally sand, but here a pink/purple granulated material) from the upper bulb to the lower one.
