Brass Indian Lassi Cup

This Antique cup is another one of my Great Grandfather's souvenirs from his "world trip" sometime in the late 40's to early 50's. Originally used for serving a traditional yogurt-based drink called lassi, they make a beautiful vase, or a lovely vessel to hold pens/pencils, cutlery, toothbrushes, paint brushes, feathers etc, or simply use as an ornamental piece. They were hand made and sold in local markets. The cup was originally covered with a silvered top coat which has almost worn off leaving a lot of copper showing with hints of silver remaining which gives a beautiful finish. This is uneven wear with some areas having more of the silver left. You can also see that this cracked and was repaired at dome point. This is NOT tested for food consumption due to age and wear of piece. Multiple pictures in different lights provided in an attempt to give an accurate understanding of the real colours.
