Breezy self-lined dress

Summer/holiday blue striped white dress with extra-wide lace shoulder straps and square neck. The lace comprises both the front and back of the square neck and shoulder straps. The fabric is cut straight, preserving the pattern of blue horizontal lines and then seemed down the left and right, which, when combined with the drawstring waist, creates a loose fit in the chest/bodice but hugs the hips (or at least that's how it fit on me). It has a midi-length skirt ending around mid-calf with a 20 cm/9-inch (approx) slit on both the left and right side. The dress is self-lined across the bodice and three quarters of the length of the skirt, preventing undergarments from showing through the fabric. The lining is 100% cotton, with the rest of the dress a mix of 30% linen and 70% rayon. Thin drawstring with tassled cord allows for adjustment at the waist. I bought this to wear around the city while on holiday one summer visiting Belgrade, Serbia for a friend's wedding. It was perfect for the Southern European heat and the humidity from the Danube River. It's light and comfortable and packed super well in my suitcase. But it doesn't fit anymore, and this style of summer dress isn't something that I reach for in my every day life at home.
