Breville Hemisphere Blender BBL420XL, Ice Crush, 54 oz Glass Jar, Pulse, Variable 12 Speed settings, pre-owned. Has been thoroughly tested, works fine. Will be shipped clean and assembled, just rinse the assembled jar and it is ready to use. Stainless steel blades, Large 54 oz glass jar, (lip has a tiny dent in it. ) Powerful, blends thoroughly, aerates well. Completely pulverizes ice so there are no ice bits in your drink. Handy finger loop on lid and cord plug. If you have not used this model before, note: The glass jug is thick and heavy to avoid breakage--may not suit elderly or invalid users. As with many blender models, do NOT disassemble after each use, to avoid leakage issues. Merely wash the glass jar thoroughly (along with the black jar holder), invert and dry. If/when you disassemble the blade/seal from the jar, thoroughly wipe/dry the rubber seal ring before reassembling. This procedure was followed during testing and no leaking occurred. Disassembles by using the small plastic measurer used as a lid cap, which fits into the blade assembly under the jar base. As with all blender models, there must be an adequate amount of liquid in the contents for the machine to operate and to avoid burning out the motor. If you are wanting to puree (like mashed potatoes) or make dough, you need a food processor, not a blender. Original Pkg & Instruction manual not included.
