Vintage bronze painted chalkware figurine, a reproduction of Michelangelo's famous sculpture Night. The original marble sculpture (c. 1526–1531) is located in the Medici Chapel in Florence, Italy, as part of the tomb of Giuliano de' Medici.  The original sculpture is a highly regarded work of Italian Renaissance art.  The figure is an allegorical representation of the cycle of time, featuring an owl and a mask as symbols of sleep and dreams. The original sculpture is one of only two female nudes ever sculpted by Michelangelo.  Measurements in the pictures.
