Hi. Is there a Serial Code inside the handbag? Is the leather soft? Can you please show the rings where the strap attaches and measure strap at its shortest length?

@ziebart new pictures have been added, also the strap at its shortest length when adjusted would give you a 44” length total so I would say 20” - 22” drop depending if you want to factor in how it rises up with it on your shoulder. I would say depending how tall and long your torso is it will either sit around the lower hip area maybe or slightly lower.
