Burberry plaid cropped pants

Burberry black, white, grey, and yellow plaid pants Sit below the waist and above the ankle 2 front pockets 2 rear bound pockets Belt loops Are possibly vintage; see below 97% cotton, 3% spandex Size IT 36/ US 2 Actual waist (sit just below waist): 27.5 Rise: 9" Hip: ~35 Inseam: 26" Leg opening: 15.75" I purchased these at a consignment store in Vancouver around 2015; I was told the pants were authentic, purchased by a trusted consignor at Burberry in Japan. The care symbols are pre-2014 Japan, and all the labels appear authentic (the label is from 2000+, just shortly after Burberrys dropped the "s"). The tailoring suggests higher-end: the plaid is perfectly matched, the stitching is even. There are two very minor defects in the fabric, each 3mm wide and one thread long, and are perfectly aligned, suggesting a glitch in the loom, and explain why they were on sale. I had no reason to question the authenticity then, and I still do not. These go perfectly with my vintage yellow sweater! Bundle and save!
