This is an antique serving bowl with a lid, or tureen, made in England by Burgess & Leigh between 1912 and 1919. It is of the rare Milan pattern, registration number 485145. It is white with floral decor in a light green. The handles are ornate and are highlighted with spots of gold. There is, surprisingly, no crazing that I can see but there are 2 chips on the rim, please see the picture of them.
The serving bowl is just over 11 1/2" in width, 7 1/4" deep and stands 5" with the lid on.
