Corsets are sized smaller than your natural waist to allow for cinching:•
For light shaping or support, choose a corset 1–2 inches (maybe even 3 inches) smaller than your natural waist.
• Example: If your waist is 30", look for a corset labeled 28" or 29". You can possibly go to 27” if you want it tighter or you are ok with showing more back skin.
• Avoid sizing down more than 3–4 inches unless you're experienced or aiming for tight-lacing.
Perfect for a special occasion party, a club night with jeans or a sexy and feminine Halloween costume!

@mystyleshops okay! my waist is about 34”, what size would you recommend?

Because corsets tend to be size smaller than normal, an XXXL would be the one you probably should choose (unfortunately I do not have that size).
If you wanted to try the XXL, take your waist of 34 and subtract the 29.5. That means that there will be about 5 inches of opening at the back lacing. Generally, corsets are worn with less than that but, if you are OK with that, you could go with the XXL. Hope that makes sense and that it helps!
