Totally waterproof (GORETEX!). Will keep you warm and dry. The pants are clean, no marks. There is a bit of wear around the bottom due to boot scuffing them ie wearer was short. Nobody will see it! Large pants are about 18.5” at the chest, 20.5” at the waist, and 55” long from top of bib to bottom of leg cuffs.
