elizmul Truthfully...it was NOT always easy...and at times I wondered if I was making any progress...I've cried many tears BUT have felt just as BLESSED. Being a Step-Parent is a challenge and you will find yourself feeling unloved, unappreciated and unsupported at times...DON'T GIVE UP! These kids need you. Keep in mind they have been thru alot and it takes time for healing and accepting. I wouldn't change one thing about my choice to marry my husband and would jump right in it again with our older two! Now having to deal with their mom...LOL...well let's just say that part wasn't so fun!! (wink) ♡ Hehe

aliciahaney @elizmul ; very true words!!! We have full custody of the oldest (daughter), son half time. Both different mothers that could not be more opposite! It's exhausting sometimes lol but it is this way for a reason! Thank you so much for reaching out with the encouraging words!! It's nice to hear from those that have experienced this road before!

I'm 51 shhhh lol I started dating my Husband in 1977 married when I turned 19 on November 19th in 1982. We have one Beautiful daughter Whitney who is a 5th grade teacher and Cheerleading coach for the past 5 years. She is 26. She to is is engaged to an amazing young man who is the deputy sheriff of our county.( never hurts to have a cop in the family) lol... aliciahaney @lns10247 Hi Leah! You so sweet. I actually just use my iPhone. I have a specific area dedicated to my photo taking. I have found it is really all about the lighting and the background. I have determined white back ground with as much natural light as possible to be the best. it really allows the items to show themselves off. :) hope that helps and please let me know if you have any other questions!!! have a great day!
