CANDLEWICK CREAM, SUGAR &.TRAY

This elegant vintage glass cream and sugar set comes complete with a matching tray. The pattern is 'Candlewick' from Imperial Glass. 'Candlewick' was named for a type of colonial embroidery that used heavy cotton thread like the thread that was used to make candle wicks. The pattern proved to be one of the Imperial Glass Company's most enduring. It was produced from the mid 1930's until the company closed in the 1980's, and its clean, elegant lines still fit perfectly on a contemporary table. The cream and sugar each stand just under 3 inches tall. The tray is approximately 9 inches long and 5 inches at its widest. All three pieces are in excellent condition, without cracks, chips, scratches, clouding, or any other damage or defect. Just beautiful! (Our apologies for our photography!
