Caroline Abram Eyeglasses YSEE 563 (Gold - Brand New!) From the Parisian Designer, Caroline Abram's Yoko Collection, this round cat eye frame was made of stainless steel, so it is durable, despite being thin. Part retro, part modern. Size 51-18 in gold. (Note that the same frames YSEE 562 are also offered in my closet in pink.) The optician, Caroline Abram trained during several years in designer oriented stores. She started in 1998 designing jewels and accessories for the eyewear market: magnifying glasses, chains, lorgnettes,etc. Her revival of the lorgnette led to her international success, and in 2002, the launch of her own line of glasses. The theme is old-fashioned charm of Miami. Sixties and vintage. South Beach inspired Caroline : the cat-eyes, colors and extreme femininity. Rewarded by four gold Silmo awards, the Filao company opened it's workshops of craft manufacturing in Dakar where Caroline spent her childhood. She trained a women's team there and have been manufacturing for 15 years. In her accessory lines Caroline Abram uses diverse materials such as resin, silver, wood and semi precious stones.
