@vtgcoach4less I bought it from another posher under the impression that it is! It has the creed and stamp, but no hang tag. The inside zipper is YKK, and the serial number style matches a Rambler. That is the extent of my knowledge however. Pls let me know if there's anything else I can share to help identify!

@vtgcoach4less @kgarland63 😩 My letter to Poshmark: Other poshers have identified that the Coach bag I purchased is actually fake! It is so unfair to have this happen -- even if the original seller honestly did not know about its inauthenticity, it really hurts the buyer to be stuck with a dud purchase. I want to end the cycle of fake items but it's incredibly frustrating to have paid for essentially nothing. I hope that Poshmark...(1/2)

@vtgcoach4less Then next time, contact Poshmark. Who will then contact both the seller and buyer and sort it out according to their policy.
Posting comments like “sorry, but this is fake” is not good business practice. Especially for someone with so many “followers”.

@kgarland63 I kindly and gently asked this....and I quote" Hi, is this authentic? Thanks" I never used the 'F' word, and did you know its a felony to sell counterfeit bags? Poshmark would not do what you are saying, and its only for some people who care about authentic bags being sold that make any difference on this platform.

@vtgcoach4less As stated, this was a REPOSHED item. My 80 yr old mother bought it. I certainly hope they don’t come and take her away to the big house!
After speaking with a friend who buys for Holt Refrew, apparently vintage bags are rarely “inauthentic” or “fake”, as the technology did not exist. So again, please provide some proof of your claim. At least some reference/name of a website both the buyer and I can see.

There's a strong community of vtg Coach collectors who know their stuff, so I trust the knowledge shared re: inauthentic knock-offs. We all lose out when fakes are in circulation, and many of us are honestly innocent of both buying and selling.

The only really unfortunate part is Poshmark's response to me: We appreciate you reaching regarding the two items and providing photos. Based on the photos provided (along with listing details), our team is unable to deem these items to be replicas.

@vtgcoach4less I never noticed, but yes! It says Solid Brass on the inside of the strap buckles -- I would never have noticed if I wasn't inspecting the whole thing to find it.

I bought two Coach bags from her, and I have no issues at all with the other one! I believe it was an honest oversight. Of the two, it just happened that I liked this one a bit less and decided to reposh.
