COALPORT 'MING ROSE' DRESSER BOX

This beautiful vintage English fine bone china dresser box was produced by Coalport, an internationally renowned leader in the manufacture of elegant china for over two hundred years. The pattern is the vivid 'Ming Rose', which Coalport produced from 1970 to 1973. The box has groups of flowers with a strong oriental look in vivid colors around the bottom, with a band of smaller motifs around the neck. The removable lid shows a large central group of flowers with the same oriental design and is finished with a pinstripe of bright gold around the edge. Overall the piece measures approximately 4 1/2 inches across, and stands about 2 1/2 inches high. It is in excellent condition, without cracks, chips, stains, scratches, wear, or any other damage or defect. Very handsome!
