COPY - Rare antique Chinese silver ring with jade Buddha

This is an example of silver filigree rings made in China for export about 80 to 100 years ago. Many such rings feature enamelled silver and large stones, often turquoise. I have found only two rings like this one, of a seated Buddha carved in jade on a gilded setting. (One of them sold at auction six years ago, while the other is currently listed on ebay.) The details are still lovely, though there is some slight wear to the gold on the band. This ring is adjustable, currently about 6-1/4 in size. Marked SILVER.
