COPY - Stone and seed mala necklace

A mala necklace can be worn as a lovely piece of energy jewelry, or used in meditation, prayer, or contemplation. Traditionally - as in this case, it consists of 108 main beads, the number having important (albeit different) significance in both Hinduism and Buddhism, the main religions in which the mala has its roots. In this piece, the 108 (9x12) rondelle (i.e. flattened, not fully round) beads - which I believe are jade but could be a similar stone, are spaced with small Rudraksha seeds, a very common material in mala. There are also larger Radraksha seeds between every group of nine stone beads and also a large central Radrashka seed, serving as the "guru" bead, above the tassel.
