COPY - Vintage Lustreware Purple Orange Lotus Bowl & Saucer

This open bowl with matching saucer are in the shape of a gorgeous lotus flower bowl. Made in Japan. It can be used as a dish bowl, candy dish or candleholder. 
The inside of the bowl is orange, the outside of the bowl and saucer are purple. Both are trimmed in black. This set is hand painted and the rainbow effect of the lustreware adds shine and elegance. With its gold luster interior and rich purple exterior with black trimmed leaves, it’s sure to be a beautiful addition your table or space.

This set is from the 1920s and in excellent condition. There are no cracks, or crazing. Only a tiny chip at the opening as shown in the pictures. There is a little rubbing of the trim. The underplate does have some minor scratching from the bowl being placed on it. The interior bottom of the bowl has a glaze bubble that is original to the piece.
 It would make a great housewarming, hostess, wedding, shower, or holiday gift. A great piece for the collector. Free local pick up from Burnaby
