Highly collectible hand painted souvenir plate from the Calgary Stampede in Calgary, Alberta. The Calgary Stampede is known as the Greatest Show on Earth.  t's a multi day rodeo extravaganza and occurs annually since 1923. Plate has 22KT gold feather edge trim. Made in Japan by ESD. 1960's. Fantastic graphic imagery: Bronco Busting, Calf Roping, Chuck Wagon Races, Downtown Calgary and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Musical Ride. Graphics are saturated and bright. Plate is in very good vintage condition. No chips, cracks, repairs or crazing. A fantastic piece for any Canadian or rodeo fan. Dimensions: 8" diameter
