Vintage Johnson Brothers Square Salad Plate with textural/slightly raised rope edge Made in England - Old! The exact date I’m not sure of - likely 1930’s based on info available online Called Aqua#B but the colour of the rim is more green than aqua Approx 7.75” square Named “salad plate” but also suitable as a side plate for bread, dessert plate, sandwich plate or just adding vintage charm stacked on your buffet table. CONDITION: Back of plate has glaze spots (normal, tiny bare spots resulting from the manufacturing process) Finish: Glossy/Smooth with light signs of use on surface / a rough manufacturing spot on back edge (PIC with 2 red ovals) Scratches/Utensil Mark: no / a few minor utensil marks, visible when plate tilted Crazing: yes, noticeable Discolouration: yes (see PICs) Chips/Cracks: no / no NOTE: All plates available (at time of listing), shown together in one PIC.
