Vintage Johnson Brothers Square Salad Plate with textural/slightly raised rope edge Made in England - Old! The exact date I’m not sure of - likely 1930’s based on info available online Approx 7.75” square Named “salad plate” but also suitable as a side plate for bread, dessert plate, sandwich plate or just adding vintage charm stacked on your buffet table. CONDITION: Back of plate has glaze spots (normal, tiny bare spots resulting from the manufacturing process) Finish: Glossy/Smooth with light signs of use on surface Scratches/Utensil Mark: no / no Crazing: yes, mild Discolouration: yes, around rim (see 2nd last PIC) Chips/Cracks: small unglazed spot & 1 rim chip on underside, see last PIC / no NOTE: All plates available (at time of listing), shown together in one PIC.
