melanierutter do these have any stretch in the calf area?

bigdaddyjl Yes. I added a picture at the end of the ad. There is an area about three inches long just to the left of the zipper that is a lighter colour in the pictures. This is an elasticized fabric that provides for stretch in the upper calf area of the boot. There is only a very little stretch in the boot in the lower calf/achilles area.
