This full length, down filled, red Canada North coat is the perfect coat for Canada’s cold winters. It’s very lightweight. It has a removable mouton processed lamb trimmed hood. If you don’t know that that is, I looked it up so you don’t have to ;) Mouton fur (North America) or beaver lamb (UK) is sheepskin which has been processed to resemble beaver or seal fur (mouton is French for "sheep"). Mouton fur is lambskin whose hair has been straightened, chemically treated, and thermally set to produce a moisture-repellent finish. Mouton is often dyed brown to resemble beaver, but it is also made in many other colors. It has a tie-up waist belt to cinch the coat in for a more flattering fit. It’s super long so it will keep your legs warm too and give you protection from cruel winter winds. The down filling is toasty warm. The colour is a gorgeous apple red and will certainly add cheer to any gloomy grey day. It is in excellent condition, no holes or stains.
