The heel is built up w/a micro cellular wedge material providing comfort and superb shock absorption. Platform measures 1" at its thinnest and 1.75" at its thickest. The sizing inside the boots shows an 8. And for reference, the heel to toe measurement is coming out to 11.75"/30cm.
