This is a Canadian history book for high school students, "Footprints in time: A Source Book in Canadian History for Young People," written by H Murray Smith, published by The House of Grant in 1962. This is a First Edition.
It has yellow textured boards with red and black lettering and graphics on the cover and spine. It starts with the first European visitors, Norsemen, in 999 AD, and goes through to 1931. There are 141 pages that include many illustrations and an Index.
This book is in very good condition. It has some wear and smudges on the covers and spine, and slightly bumped corners. There is a school stamp and some marks inside the front cover. There are smudges on the outside of the text block. The inside pages are very clean with no marks that I could find. Please see the photos.
It would make a wonderful gift for a teacher or to use in your homeschool curriculum.
