Canary Island 1980s grail super soft khaki high waisted mom jeans EUC size XXS

Way back in the 1980s a store that popped up in malls in Southwestern Ontario (and perhaps elsewhere but I was a kid and too young to do any kind of worldly travel). This store looked a lot like a Y2K-era Hollister. It had the ambiance of a deserted island/glamping/safari experience. I feel like the stuff in the store was very vacation; very beach-centric and very, very well-made. These pants are no different. In all my years of thrifting, this is the first and only time I've ever bumped into this brand and I doubt I ever will again. The pants are tagged as a vintage 28 which is hilarious since the waist is only about 23" total. I'm listing them as XXS because it would be disingenous to list them as a 28 when no size 28 waist would fit into them. They are NOT two-tone: it's just the stupid light.
