Canovision 8 Canon VM-E1 Camcorder with case & accessories, Partial Function

Partial / Limited Testing of Functionality: Powers on when directly plugged into the outlet, but there is no battery pack included. Video screen inside monochrome viewfinder is functional, the tape functions of eject work. However, I am unable to verify the record and playback function because I don't have an 8MM cassette with working tape inside of it so I haven't verified that it will record or playback. Sale as is.
