Inner strings allow you to cinch in a bit and provide for a more customized fit. Nice to have the chin strap when windy and you don't want to chase your hat down the beach/sidewalk. If you look closely (4th pic), the colour bands aren't incredibly well blended with the beige but the overall vibe is there. Co-ordinates with some tops I have listed.
