Carlos by Carlos Santana woven silver PU cork wedge slingback sandals, 9.5, EUC

This cork wedge is just the thing for lounging about poolside, looking amazing with your tan. Assuming you either have a pool or are planning a beach vacation, but even if not, hey, we have beaches here! Plus, they look fabulous with jeans or cutoffs, or breezy white linen pants, or any colorful, summery, beachy style. The intricately woven uppers elevate this sandal and make it look a lot more expensive than it really is. The silver is truly more of a platinum colour, almost a white gold, and did I mention it looks stunning against melanated skin? Especially with a nice pedicure. I probably bought these around 2010; they were worn twice then left on display, where they routinely drew more comments than much more expensive shoes. Although the PU is flaking in a couple of spots (see photos), it's barely noticeable what with the overall shininess. These shoes definitely have more life in them & should go somewhere they'll be worn, like Cuba, Trinidad or Hawaii. I can't find a size marked on them, but they fit my size 9.5 feet perfectly, and they are quite comfortable walking around all day.
