krisbeshoppin Hi! Never heard of the brand Artisan Street before and could not find anything on them. I assume from the price it’s designer? Do you have more info on the designer so I can take a look?

acihra @krisbeshoppin Hi…if you type in Artisan Street carpetbags into Google it should bring up a slew of images of carpetbags. They may not be around anymore though - Covid affected a lot of small businesses

krisbeshoppin @acihra I’m seeing a lot of pictures of carpetbags but they are all off other brands. I was only able to find an old site that was half finished of this brand that said they could be purchased on Amazon but when you get there it’s just random hits. There’s only one other hit that lists a price and it is on a scam site. I can’t find anything with info on this specific brand..

acihra @krisbeshoppin Ok then they may not be around anymore. The carpetbag was purchased in 2020. The only contact information I have for them is from the confirmation email I received when I ordered the bag. This is all I have: customerservice@artisanstreet.com and the phone number which is 1.415.668.6292.

krisbeshoppin @acihra @acihra Sorry but that does not seem like enough of a brand reputation to pay $300 for a bag of a brand where this one listing is the main hit, and the only Their own website where that same contact info is listed says they were sold on Amazon- if I search carpet bag there similar items are selling for closer to $60. Edit: Found one other hit for Artisan Street carpetbags sold on someone’s shopify as well. Not a big selection but new they range from $60-80 new.

acihra @krisbeshoppin I’d be interested to see a handmade, one-of-a-kind tapestry bag for that price for this size. I have never seen an extra large carpetbag made of thick tapestry that’s spring loaded steel & magnetic closure with brass hardware including feet and has leather straps & trim for $60 - $90 Cdn. I’d love to see it though so if you could provide the link or name etc that would be helpful.

acihra @krisbeshoppin Just looked on Amazon and bags that are somewhat similar are selling anywhere from $350 to $499 so if you’ve found for under $100 then that’s definitely a bargain.

krisbeshoppin @acihra I asked for info thinking it was an unknown designer brand (perhaps the brand had been labeled wrong hence not on google) but I only have your word to trust that this is high end, and not an Amazon product like the website of the brand provided suggests. Some Posher do sell knockoffs, or cheaply made items for luxury prices, sadly. I don’t know you, it isn’t personal. To pay that much here there needs to be something to back it up in terms of recognizable value for security.
