@caitlin_strang it goes in and the straps come through the back I can sent you a picture tonight when I'm home as I still have a baby carseat I also have one that just goes over the top not inside I can send pics of that one too if you like

@caitlin_strang I'll add the pics to the post as it wont let me share them to you directly. the red and black is for babies that are a little older I wouldn't say new born as some of the inserts dont fit with it the black one is perfect for new born and beyond as it goes over the seat its self
