This rare Carsten's Tönnieshof Pottery shell dish is a beautiful addition to any mid-century modern collection. Manufactured between 1945 and the creation of West Germany in 1949, this square dish is made of green-blue ceramic pottery and measures 9 inches square and 2" high. The unique slightly curved shape and gold accents make it a standout piece for decorative use or serving your favorite snacks. Hand wash only. Condition wise, it is in very good/excellent vintage condition with only minor wear on some of the gold trim and slight imperfections on the non-visible underside of the dish.
