Carved Round Wooden Trinket Box

Carved round wooden trinket box from possibly the Caribbean/South America. Feels and smells like Mahogany or Rosewood, previous owner possibly used rose oil in it but I have cleaned it and it still gives off a lovely scent. Small scratches on the "back" and underside of the box as shown in photos. Would use my teak oil to improve these but I don't want to disrupt the scent! Great vintage condition. Cat friendly, nonsmoking home. Height from bottom to top of lid: 3.5 inches Width: 4.5 inches Width of opening: 2.5 inches
