Carved Statue Of Man From Haiti

A wooden statue of a man carrying what looks to me to be a marimbula, a Haitian and Dominican musical instrument. He wears a hat and no shoes; given the style I believe that it came from Haiti or the Dominican Republic. Note that the statue has to be kept on a very level surface. The statue is 20 3/4" tall and its base is 3 1/2" wide by 3 1/4" deep.
