I don’t know the origin, type of wood or age of the box as it has no other markings. It appears to be hand carved by the inconsistencies in the carvings! The inside of the box is lined with red velvet and is hinged on the left. The box itself is 8.5 cm squared on the top. 3.5 cm high. The inside is 6.5 cm squared.and approximately 2cm deep.
