It is a very, very dark shade of navy, borderlining to black. I had the same question when I was there as it is a bit confusing and misleading. I was advised by the manufacturer that this means the scarf is made with real cashmere (usually 70-80%) mixed with natural fibers such as cotton, wool, silk etc. and not actually 100% cashmere that would be assumed. A cashmere blend will still offer a touch of cashmere luxe for a fraction of the cost with no sacrifice to the softness and warmth. And it is so lightweight and thin, making it a perfect piece for travel!
