Cast Iron Potholders Vintage Vegetable Hot Plate Trivets

Grandmas cast iron trivet set of 2! Veggie design. Some of the paint is peeling as they are very old and were well used at one time. These trivets are special to me, not for sentimental reasons, but because when I found them, they were completely black and covered in what had to have been many years of cooking oil. I didn't know what I had found, most people would discard them immediately. The weight and shape made me curious, so I grabbed some Dawn dish soap and began to wipe away the layers of black. To my surprise, the most bold and beautiful colours started to appear, eventually unveiling what you see now!! They have little feet to keep the heat above the table surface. Very distressed heavy cast pot holders that were loved by one for many years and saved by another today!
