Ceramic Sandstone Pitcher by Nault

This sandstone ceramic pitcher is signed "Nault" on the underside but I do not know if there is a connection to Andre Nault; any reference to Nault that I can find indicates that it was made in France. The front of the pitcher has 2 flowers projecting out above blades of grass. There is little to no wear so I suspect that the previous owner used it for decorative purposes. The pitcher is 7 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" without the handle.
