Solid enough to wear on its own and a great way to add texture to your looks as a baselayer, it’s an extremely versatile (and fashion-forward) layering piece. FYI: the tank top is named after a sleeveless bathing costume that caused quite a stir when it was worn by the British Women’s Swim Team at the 1912 Olympics; at the time, swimming pools were also called swimming tanks, and the name stuck.
