Chanel Dark Brown Velvet flap shoulder Bag

Luxurious vintage Chanel crossbody bag in dark brown velvet. Features signature chain strap and iconic logo accent. A chic addition to any ensemble. The exterior of the bag is in very nice shape. Minimal but not obvious wear to the velvet. See photos. The interior went through extensive repair at a cobbler. There is now brown leather where the velvet was torn. A magnetic snap closure was also added for ease of use, and the old mechanism can be found zipped inside the inner pocket. There is also no smell. The strap metal needs to be cleaned, perhaps using brasso will work. I just wore it as is, but it’s not shiny as one might expect. The leather within is in great shape. The grosgrain material is also in good, solid, shape. This is a very nice bag from the 90s and an excellent way to get a Chanel flap bag for a fraction of the cost of other bags. A great addition to any collection. Size: 5.5inches by 8.5 by 2 deep. 13 inch strap drop. It’s a bit bigger than a wallet on a chain size, which means you can fit a small wallet, phone, keys, lip gloss, etc within without having to play Tetris to get everything in and out. Comes with original dust bag.
