Chanel Fall 1992 Runway Archival Vintage Midi-Length Leather Skirt. From the iconic Collection 29. Awesome vintage Chanel leather skirt From the Fall 1992 runway (also known as collection 29). This skirt was worn by Claudia Schiffer as part of the opening look on the runway. A version was also worn by Helena Christensen. Yasmeen Ghauri worked the knee-length version. The skirt was also worn later in the show by Yasmin LeBon and her stomp down the runway in this skirt was rated number 16 in W magazine’s “Chanel in the ’90s: The Best Supermodel Runway Moments, Including Kate Moss, Cindy Crawford,And More.” Finally, the skirt was rocked again by Claudia for the 1992 Chanel fall ad campaign, shot in a newly unified Berlin by Karl Lagerfeld himself. A real collector’s piece in great vintage condition. Made from buttery soft black leather with beautiful features such as the oversized ‘floating’ pockets & back slit with 3 large black and gold ‘CC’ buttons. A wide waistband with two gold & black ‘CC’ buttons and a zip to fasten at the back. Two patch pockets at the back. The skirt is lined in the most subtle black ‘CC’ jacquard satin. The perfect length midi-skirt at just under 31 inches long. Approximate measurements: Waist laying flat across: 13 inches Hips laying flat across: 16.5 inches Total length: 30.75 inches In great vintage condition. Some creasing though out from storage. No major flaws to note but please keep in mind this has been worn as is a vintage piece.
