Charles Jourdan 1980’s Haute Couture Paris multi coloured flowers silk blouse

Timeless cut and print: will never go out of fashion. Large flower vintage prints are trendy for this spring & coming summer. Formal or casual chic, depending on how you accessorize. Versatile to pairing: any solid colour or combination of colours in harmony with those of the print will be perfect. Print is of different species of flowers in a kaleidoscope of colours such as fuchsia, salmon, turquoise, purple, red, blue, yellow, orange, green…Hues vary w/light. Pure silk with an organdie feel. Cut is original & feminine: front & the back of the body are like truncated cones with large ruffles attached to their sides (see relevant picture w/yellow outlines in pencil). Purchased in the exclusive Haute Couture boutique of Charles Jourdan, in Paris in the 1980’s. They no longer produce so this will continue to increase in value w/time if you take good care of it.l! Very large sleeves are attached 2 the other side of the ruffles: they go as low as 10 inches fr/the bottom trim. The pit2pit measurement is therefore irrelevant. Sleeves end with elastic. To respect the proportions created by the protrusion of the large ruffles, this blouse should be worn by a size 8 or 10. The body from top to the bottom hem measures approximately when flat: 22.5 inches, so it is long enough to wear either tucked inside or left outside your skirt or pants (see relevant pictures). Care: dry cleaning Condition: no flaws, but vintage. After dry cleaning, was stored away from light and dust.
