Here is the children's adventure story, "Wind And Weather Permitting" by Prudence Hill, illustrated by the author's father, Sir Roderic Hill. It was published in 1947 by J. M. Dent & Sons Ltd. It is a blue cloth covered hardcover book with silver lettering and graphics on the cover and spine.
This is about three young people left on their own for a holiday and the adventures they have by and on the sea.
There is a little wear to the cover and spine with slightly bumped corners. There are a couple of school stamps inside the front cover along with a library pocket. There is a small number in ink in the bottom corner of the title page. The rest of the pages have just a hint of yellowing. The binding is good and tight. There is no dust jacket.
