Carved from one solid piece of bone or ivory! (not sure which) on this piece! Many moving layers of star carved inner balls! Fantastic history of how these are made and historiacal meaning! Purchased many moons ago! Pre-owned in an estate sale! Very intricate rose and star pattern!
