Chunky Modernist Goldtone Twisted Rope Bangle JP185

This is a very unusual Chunky Modernist Goldtone Twisted Rope Bangle with a wooden glossy purple oval bead that spins in the centre. One of a kind that I picked up at a boot sale on Portobello Road, London a few years ago. The twisted rope is on the band and the three centre accents have been manipulated to a swirl design. The glossy purple oval wooden bead spins and is not stationary. Estimated circa late 80’s or early 90’s, it is in excellent vintage condition. The opening is 1-1/4” and does not have much give so your wrist must be more on the narrow side. Fits 7.5” wrist comfortably. The band is 1-1/4” wide at its widest point. A nice heavy weight attributed to very good quality when made. Unmarked.
