What are the measurements, please? Will it hold a pound of butter?

Hi Leanne,
The dimensions are:
Length: 8 1/2"
Width: 5 1/2"
And then on the inside, where there is a slight raised edge where the butter would sit is:
Length: just under, 5 1/2"
Width: just under, 3 1/2"
And I tried putting a pound of butter in that inside spot, and it fits.
