CittàDiMilano metallic navy crinkled leather cage sandals, EU41, NWT

I know virtually nothing about this label because they seemingly have no online presence, save for a lone address listing of a store in Italy (not in Milan even). Not completely surprising, as Italy seems to be littered with dozens of small local shoe artisans all doing their own thing. The most astonishing thing is that somehow, I was still able to purchase this shoe online. They really are gorgeous, with that crinkled metallic blue finish, very nice leather, a chunky cylindrical heel of about 3.75", and quite honestly the smoothest operating back zip I've ever encountered on any shoe, ever. Which made me unreasonably happy, since there's nothing more frustrating than sticky shoe zippers. They're marked size 41, which fits my size 9.5 medium-width feet quite perfectly. I think they would even accommodate a size 10, as there's just enough extra length, with the caveat that if you have a high arch, it will require a bit of wiggling to get your foot past the zipper. Because the cage part of the sandal is mostly laser cut from a single piece of leather, I expect these shoes will ease slightly as they are worn - bonus, no awkward inside seams to give you blisters. They have been stored in the box, unworn, and they're in brand new condition.
