Classic Hardware Raspberry Bakelite-Inspired Ring, NWOT. Face of ring measures 7/8" long by 3/4" wide. Are you familiar with bakelite? I used to have a mild obsession with it. A precursor to modern plastics, bakelite was widely used in manufacturing everything from electronics parts to jewelry. It had a short heyday during the 1930s and 1940s, and then after the war was replaced by modern plastic. This piece is not original bakelite, and is Classic Hardware's modern nod to this vintage material.
