So what we have here is a beautifully made skirt from a country that makes really small sizes and I've never managed to get into it, so here's your chance! But seriously, I think I ordered like a 4X and I'm between a L and XL and it's too small. So if you're between a M and L, it'll probably fit you. It's made from a nice sturdy, good quality heavy fabric and it has a decent amount of volume in it. You could do more with a crinoline. But my suggestion would be to simplify things and use horsehair around the hem on the inside of all the layers. That would give it more structure because it does have the potential to be one of those classic big 50's and 60's skirts. The fabric has a nice sheen to it. I mean I would love to wear this skirt really classed up for a major event. I would steam it and sew that horsehair into there and pair it with a beautiful lace tank top with some light sequin work and of course, red patent leather pumps. Make the top black and it's kind of like an LBD, but with a longer skirt. However, I would also love to have been able to wear this skirt big and full with fishnets and a black and white striped top with a boat neck and long sleeves and a big sparkly statement necklace, maybe gloves and a nice bolero jacket over top for a chilly day.
