Super 70s pantsuit with high waisted wide leg bell bottom pants and semi-fitted jacket. The tags have been nipped off at the neckline but the fabric feels like a wool blend (not very itchy so perhaps it is blended with acrylic) in a herringbone pattern with a big iconic 70s lapel and patch pocket flaps and back detailing in a velvety cotton corduroy. The body of the jacket is lined in a crisp and cool acetate but the sleeves do not have any lining (as shown in the last photo of the inside of the jacket). The pants are unlined. The suit is in great condition without any notable flaws or marks and has just been dry-cleaned so it is ready to wear!
Jacket:
Across the chest: 34"
Across the waist: 28"
Across the back shoulder: 14"
Across the hip: 38"
Shoulder to hem of jacket: 25"
Sleeve length: 22.75"
Pant:
Waist: 26.5" (button could be moved to accommodate 27"
Hip: 39" (9 inches down) and 42" at the fullest part (crotch level)
Rise: front is 11.5", back is 15.5"
Inseam: 30" with an almost 2" hem that could be let down up to about 1.5" if you added hemming tape.
I'm calling this a size XS. Interesting to note that in the 70s when I studied Fashion Fabrication, this would have been a size 10 and designed to fit a 32" bust and 26" waist but we seem to have done away with standard sizing so please be sure to compare your own measurements with the measurements given in the listing to make sure that you would be able to fit into it.
